My favorite part of the kitchen... The cupboard/cabinet shelves! seeing color; pretty appliances and unique dinnerware make time feel a bit more pleasant in the kitchen. Eating off delicate plates and sipping from dainty cups makes me happy even if I'm eating leftovers.

I swear I meant to update sooner but WORK and new Puppies have my hands tied up! :-(

This week and I saw new shops open like Wren & Chickadee; a mother and daughter out in hunt for lost treasures for their customers and Three Potato Four also a family operated business. Imagine the fun and the joy they might get when preparing store orders and receiving positive feedback. I admire the work that goes into each of the orders.

Despite the bad reviews the Marc Jacobs Spring 2008 RTW received, (the theme was about "sex"; the undressing of certain types of women?) But aside from that I found myself attracted to several elements of this collection. The shoes, the accessories, the hair pieces. It was def. something unexpected.

A mini trend I saw - little petite mouses. How cute! Reminds of the popular mouse flats of some seasons ago. Also detected flowers, and frogs!

These I feel like their were made with a certain Dr. Seuss illustration in mind.
