Saturday Afternoon

Pretty in Pink

Saturday Afternoon was spent strolling at the park. We had a chance to dress our puppies for the occasion which everybody complimented about. Yes a Bichon doesn't normally wear clothes because of their cute powderpuff appearance which requires a lot of grooming. But what do I know?I'm a bad mother of two cute puppies; I give them ice cream and I dress them up!

Photo of the newest addition to my deer collection and vintage plate & saucer.

I find myself distracted by the images of dinner party adorned by dinner plates, flowers, and other little details. I have not yet found an occasion to use my new plates, they remain tucked away in a cupboard.

MY KITSCH...YOUR KITSCH

So what's the actual meaning of the word "kitsch", is it "bad taste" or just "sentimental value" items? Definition kitsch (n.) - Sentimentality or vulgar, often pretentious bad taste, especially in the arts. No post for today just my a photo of my SMALL deer/fawn collection! Do you own any "kitschy" items?

Ti scatterò una foto...

Every morning I pass this house and I think I have become more of a stalker than a neighbor, I remember when it was first being constructed, it stood out in a sea of traditional homes in the neighborhood. Don't you just love it & wonder how the inside looks like? I love the basic structure of the building reminds me of the previous flick house posted. I promise I'll take a better photo next time and maybe even ask the home owner "DO YOU MIND IF A TAKE A FAST PHOTO OF YOUR PLACE?".
