I love the idea of having the most fabulous shoes scattered through a room. I figured if you can't wear them everyday why not seek a place to display them for everyday to see.
I was in a thrift shop and found a pair of Wexford heels that were made in Spain. They weren't my size (way too small) but the craftsmanship and beauty had to be mine. They are displayed in my Bedroom. They appear to be from the 1940's.
I'm not sure I'd feel confortable about having my shoes scattered around the room...Maybe if they were in a glass shelf, you can still see them but they are well organized and not too dusty...am I a nut freak or what???

but if you do this the shoes will be covered with dust and the leather will crack :((
diffrent story if you brush them daily, but this is not good for the shoes!
I would agree--it's great to have your sexiest shoes out on display--and, if you have lots of shoes, it can remind you to wear them as well.
I love the mirror in the first picture!
